Hey Natalie!
“Yes! You won’t regret this, I promise!” He grinned wide and stood up, picking up Ike and holding him. “So, I’ll be staying in here, right? Do I get this tiger as a room mate?” He held the cat out gently, still grinning. He noticed the worried lok on her ace though, and sobered into seriousness quickly. “The damage was an accident, okay? It was a complete fluke, and it will never happen again.” That was completely true, he had found another place to tinker with his things.
“You don’t need to worry about a thing Natalie.” He smiled at her, sitting next to her on the couch. He set the cat on the floor, and watched him run into another room before continuing. “I’m clean, and quiet. Oh, but I do have one question. How do you feel about me bringing someone over every once in a while?”
Natalie smiled. She was just happy that Peter wouldn’t have to go out and live on the streets. He must have really been desperate if he came to someone he hardly knew for a place to stay. “Yup, just you and Ike out here,” she said before he began to open up to her.
Natalie was happy Peter was being truthful and sincere with her for a moment. She nodded. “Thanks… for saying that,” she said, wanting to be able to gain his trust. And he easily seemed very comfortable with her. It was nice. Well, maybe he was a little too comfortable with being here. Natalie looked over at him. “Meaning… what?” She asked, as it took her a minute to understand what he meant. “Oh. Oh… well…” She cleared her throat, rather uncomfortable with this topic at hand.
“It wouldn’t be super often. And they’d be gone by the time you woke up.” He bit his lip nervously. It’s not like he couldn’t find another place to meet up with his one night stands, but it would be nice to not have to find his way home after. Right now he was just hoping he hadn’t asked for too much. He had already been allowed to stay with her, he really shouldn’t ask for more.
“Err.. Nevermind, okay? I’ll figure something else out.” Peter smiled again, looking around the room for something to fill the silence. “What uhh… What kinds of things do you do in your spare time?”

Hey Natalie!
He grinned and scratched the cat behind his ear, making baby faces as he did. “What a handsome boy you are, yes you are!” He looked back up at Natalie. “Oh! Err… Well…” He tried to think of a delicate way to say ‘I burned a caustic hole through three floors’ and still be allowed to stay. “It was just some accidental property damage, and late rent.” He smiled, trying to make it believable. He didn’t think he’d be kicked out at this point, but there was always a chance.
Sitting up straighter, he replied to the rest of her questions. “As long as you have blankets, I could sleep in the bathtub. And I wouldn’t spend to much time here, so I won’t take up much room.” He ticked off the other things on his fingers as he said them. “Of course I’ll cook, and clean and pay rent, I’m not a bum! Pleeeeeeease Natalie?”
“Property damage?” Natalie repeated as a question. She noticed how he quickly glazed over his explanation. She wasn’t entirely sure what he was hiding from her, but, he seemed almost anxious about it. Or it may have just been because he really needed some place to stay and Natalie was just reading too deep into this because she just didn’t know him? She let it slide for the moment.
Peter seemed more than eager to cooperate, and she did want to help him out. She had the room… and he was nice… And Ike liked him. She smiled a little at him. Besides, this would give her an opportunity to know him better. “Um…Alright, you can stay,” Natalie said, but wondered if she’d regret the decision after the fact.
